MagicSpells adds the sense of touch to sight and sound on a haptically enhanced digital monitor, allowing learners to see, hear, and FEEL content as they interact with words and images to acquire vocabulary. While word banks and definitions are provided, learners create their own content when they choose words and record their voices to hear words, definitions, and sentences. They also write the word in a color of their choice and use images or artwork to illustrate the word, putting them in charge of their learning. However, the most exciting feature of MagicSpells comes when the learners FEEL the letters of the word in the texture they choose.
